It’s time to turn the page quickly because Austin FC has gone from hunter to hunted. The rest of the league will be cheering for our downfall, so we let’s take some time to figure out whose demise we are rooting for this weekend.

Tonight, the Verde & Black return to the site of their unveiling under wildly different circumstances.  Gone are the “just happy to be here” vibes of an expansion team, having been replaced with a gritty mix of veterans and young talent fighting early in the season for a playoff spot. 

For the first time this season, MLS will give us a pretty full slate of mid-week matches to satiate our soccer needs.  Ten games are scheduled for action tomorrow night and thanks to the late kickoff in L.A., us ATX fans will be able to catch most of the action before the main event.  So let’s start figuring out to cheer for on hump day!
