It was clearly explained to me that an opening match win meant that Austin would go 34-0-0 (W-D-L as God herself intended) and now the season is ruined.
A coach in his second game already with a loss? Idiot, fly the plane
A roster that hasn’t gotten a chance to gel under performing? Sell them
A DP who hasn’t scored in two games? Failure
Another DP, yes another! Who has yet to score in his 30′ of playing time? Send him back to Spain
Owen Wolff didn’t even get an assist from a set piece last night, bench him, have someone else take them.
Austin has an unacceptable PPG so far of only 1.5, which nets a paltry 51 points for the season, which would only be a 9 point improvement for the club and barely make the playoffs for the first time since 2022.
I don’t want to hear how Austin won on xG last night, had more shots, the same number of big chances, all that matters is we lost at a place we’ve only ever won once before and where only three away teams won last season.
I don’t care that of teams that have played two games Austin has allowed the fourth fewest shots on target (4) and Stuver is nearly dead last in MLS keepers in saves (3). He’s led the league in saves three out of the last four seasons! Why isn’t he making more saves!
So that’s it, I’m fucking done with this coach and these players, at least until another good results and then we’re back to running the table for the rest of the season.
